If you’ve found yourself here, chances are you’re feeling it too. That quiet nudge, the invisible pull for change, the energy of a midlife transformation.
Welcome. You’re not alone.
If you grew up in the ’80s, ’90s, or early 2000s, you probably heard the term midlife crisis. Maybe you saw it in movies or watched someone close to you make some… questionable choices. We laughed, we judged, and we swore we’d never end up there. But looking back? I don’t think those people were crazy. I think they were waking up.
They were unraveling from what the first half of life told them they should be. And they were beginning to realize that maybe those rules, those roles, that relentless hustle? Maybe that wasn’t it.
Why I Started This Blog
I’ve been dreaming of this space for years. Through late-night overthinking sessions, whispered prayers, and breakdowns in the car. But every time I tried to start, I talked myself out of it. Blogging didn’t fit into my to-do list of productive things. It didn’t make sense in a life that revolved around grinding at a 9–5, trying to stay healthy, parent through tech chaos, and hold everything together.
I’d pour my last bit of energy into “shoulds” and feel mad at myself for never actually creating what my soul kept whispering about.
Until I finally stopped trying to control it all.
After 17 years in a career that looked great on paper but no longer felt right, I gave myself permission (after checking in with my very patient husband and not so patient kids) to stop knowing and start listening.
That’s when the magic began.
This Is a Space for the In-Between
This blog is for that sacred, awkward space between what was and what’s next. That gentle phase often mislabeled as a “crisis,” but really? It’s a spiritual awakening in midlife.
You’re not quite who you were, but you’re not sure who you’re becoming. All you know is that what was no longer works.
Here, you’ll find honest reflections from a midlife woman, mom, and soul in transition. You’ll find:
- Encouragement for the messy middle (where the truth finds you)
- Small, sustainable ways to reconnect with your body and intuition
- Reclaimed ideas about health, identity, and self-worth
- Soul growth that doesn’t require a 10,000-step morning routine or constant “good vibes only” energy
This isn’t a self-help blog.
It’s a self-remembering one.
No perfection. No pretending. Just raw truths, real life, and spiritual growth, served with a side of curiosity and a willingness to start over.
No perfection. No pretending. Just real life, soul-first.
Let’s Take This Journey Together
If you’re re-evaluating your life, your job, your friendships, even the fabric of your underwear (cotton only now!) you’re in the right place.
You don’t need a five-year plan. You don’t need to have it all figured out.
You just need to be honest, stay curious, trust the divine, and show up.
I’m so glad you’re here. I need you too.
This is a community for messy midlife women rediscovering their magic. And yes—there’s magic in all of it, even when it’s falling apart.
